Monday Sunrise Boardwalk Runs/Walks
Making a Tradition

EVERY Monday @ Sunrise (6:00am)

We would like to invite you and anyone who you might feel would be interested to join Team for Autism Awareness
members, family and friends each Monday morning for a Sunrise run, jog or walk along the beautiful Point Pleasant
Beach Boardwalk.

When:
Every Monday morning from 6:00am until 7-7:30 am, starting on May 18th. We will continue to meet every Monday
morning at the same time through Spring, Summer and into Fall when the clock falls back and sunrise is later. Of
course we could continue all year around for the diehards or those training for a Spring 2010 run ;-) 2110 NJ
marathon - hint.

** We will start at 6:05, so if you come a bit later start to make your way towards the south end and you will surely
meet up with  another member of the group.


Where:
We will meet at the North end of the Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach, closest to the inlet at the end of Broadway
Ave.  




Who:
Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome and encouraged. We are looking to build this to where
everyone can join and hopefully meet others who are at similar fitness, running and walking levels or with a common
race, event or fitness goal. Some will be walking, some will be jogging and some maybe doing pace work or intervals.

So if you are up early, want to get into better shape, are looking to run your first 5K or even Marathon the Sunrise
Runs can be a perfect fit. Heck what better way to start of the week with a sunrise?

Coaching:
For those who are looking to or considering training and entering a race we will be inviting many of our coaches to
join us whenever possible so that you can meet and see if there is a fit for you and your goals. In addition to coaches
there will most certainly be other experienced runners that you can network with and who can also help you.

Motivation:
It is proven that when you get together with others that are working towards a goal that is similar to yours, you are
more likely to be successful then if trying to accomplish something solo.  Training and working out with others will
motivate you to show up, to perform to the levels needed, and can also provide that additional push to go that extra
mile or second faster. TEAM.







So get your running stuff together this Sunday night and hopefully every Sunday night for many weeks to come and
get your butt out of bed and meet us on Monday morning at the Boardwalk. You will get in a great workout and to
take advantage of where we all live and start you week off with a beautiful God given Sunrise....you will not regret it.
